1. Sign the House Rules & Indemnity
It is a booking condition that the Guest must sign Atlantic Cove's House Rules and Indemnity Agreement.
2. Respect Quiet Hours from 10pm to 8am
Atlantic Cove is in a residential area so please remain mindful of your noise levels at all times, especially when you’re outside on the deck.
No parties, loud music, excessive drinking, illegal substances or disruptive behaviour are allowed at any time.
3. No visitors or additional guests
Only registered guests, as per the confirmed booking, are allowed on the property. Should you wish to receive visitors between 8am - 10pm, please request permission prior to their arrival.
4. No smoking or flammable materials
All forms of smoking, vaping and e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited.
Using any flammable materials inside the house are strictly forbidden. The fireplace in the house is a feature and should not be used.
5. No food in the bedrooms
Please do not take food or drinks that can stain the bedding into the bedrooms.
6. DANGER! Do not touch the inverter & battery
Do not touch or attempt to change the settings of the inverter and back-up battery on the landing (1st floor). Children must be kept away from the inverter and back-up battery!
7. Report damages
Please report any accidental damages immediately.
8. Tell us if anything is not working
Should anything malfunction or not work properly, please inform us so that we can repair or replace it (if possible).
9. Remain mindful of electricity usage During scheduled power outages (refer to the “Loadshedding Survival Guide” on arrival), please limit the usage of airconditioners, hairdryers, fans, etc.

We will ensure that the information you submit to us, or which we collect, via various channels (including our website, through written, e-mail, WhatsApp or conversations), is only used for the purposes set out in this policy.

References in this Privacy Policy is to the parent company of Jo Holdings (Pty) Ltd, Atlantic Cove and other trading subsidiaries of the company.
The Information we collect
We will collect your personal details, including but not limited to your name and contact details (together with your e-mail address) and other relevant information for your booking. On occasion this will also include sensitive personal information such as details of confirming your identity and passport number. When we receive your details, this may be through a direct booking or enquiry on our website/s or an enquiry or booking that you have made through a third party accommodation website.
We will likely obtain further personal information about you during the course of our relationship with you. This information may be obtained from you directly or from third parties, such as other accommodation booking websites.
How we collect the Information from you
We collect and receive information about you by information you provide to us directly. I.e. when you sign-up to utilise our services, by filling in forms on our website or those provided to you, when you enter a competition, promotion or complete a survey, by you posting comments or content on our social media pages or when you contact us or we contact you and you provide information to us directly.
We collect information when you use websites or social media platforms by using cookies, web beacons and other technologies. Depending on how you access and use websites, we may receive: Log information, Device information (for example the type of device you're using, how you access platforms, your browser or operating system and your Internet Protocol ("IP") address), please see our Cookie Policy for more information. We may receive additional information about you that is publicly or commercially available and combine that with the information we have collected or received about you in in other ways.
How we use your Personal Information
We will hold, use and disclose your personal information, for our legitimate business purposes including:

How we share your Personal Information
We are based in and operate from South Africa. Your information, including personal information, may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your country of residence, where the data privacy laws, regulations and standards, may not be equivalent to the laws in your country of residence.

We won’t send you marketing messages if you tell us not to but we will still need to send you service-related messages.

Where we have good reason, and if the PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION ACT, 2013 permits, we can refuse your request for a copy of your personal information, or certain elements of the request. If we refuse your request or any element of it, we will provide you with our reasons for doing so.
